HUGE shrinkage and recession from former locations." ====================================================== Of course, glaciers have been receding for quite a long time, since the Little Ice Age in particular. For instance, The Mendenhall glacier in Alaska has been receding since the late 1700's and at a rate of about 25-30 feet per year. Natural cycles continue.
